A428 Caxton Gibbet Roundabout to A14 Clover Leaf (junction 31)

Essential drainage surveys on the A428 between Caxton Gibbet Roundabout the A14 Clover Leaf (junction 31).

We plan to complete this work over 3 weeks between Monday 28 February and Wednesday 16 March. We will work between 8pm and 6am on weeknights only, weather conditions permitting.

Closures and diversions

To carry out the work safely, we will need to close the A428 overnight and divert traffic as detailed below:

• Full closure westbound – Monday 28 February to Wednesday 16 March
• Eastbound lane 2 closure – Monday 28 February to Wednesday 16 March

Whilst the A428 is closed, westbound traffic will be diverted onto the A14 towards junction 21, onto the A141 to join the A1 southbound using the Brampton Hut Interchange. Traffic will then follow the A1 southbound to Wyboston. (See map opposite)
