I have served as a Parish Councillor since November 2015.The Elliotts moved to Hemingford Grey over 35 years ago. I led a hectic life raising two daughters, caring for elderly parents and working full-time. But now I'm retired after 26 years running a London-based media and journalism training school with my husband. We specialised in short communication skills courses for all sectors of business and government. My previous professional background includes market research, advertising and technology.I'm now involved in setting up a Community Interest Company to offer neighbourly help and social inclusion for our village. I enjoy gardening and art, which I put off for too many years. Oh yes, I'm also a keen fisherwoman. I look forward to helping Hemingford Grey become an even more wonderful place to live over the coming years.
